John Cleves Symmes (1742–1814) was a delegate to the Continental Congress from faktury vat Jersey, and later a pioneer in the Northwest Territory. Anglican Portal James Lloyd Breck (June 27, 1818 ? April 2, 1876) was a priest, educator and missionary of the Episcopal Church of the United States of America. Breck was born near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He attended high school at the Flushing Institute, founded by William Augustus Muhlenberg, who inspired him to resolve at the age of sixteen to devote himself to missionary activity.
